Trio with Miri Lee and Manuela Tessi
The Orgelpark performance workshop project has been held in the Orgelpark church organ concert hall in Amsterdam since 2007. It is held in the finale week of August and was initiated by artistic director (Orgelpark) Johan Luijmes and artistic director (Magpie) Katie Duck . The focus of this project is to combine the church organ with other instrumentalists in an improvisation setting and in collaboration with dance and performance.
The Performance:
A music/performance collaboration improvisation design by Jacob Lekkerkerker and Katie Duck working with the theme “Recital”.
Dancer/Performers: Miri Lee (Korea), Justin Morrison (USA), Esther Kaijim (the Netherlands), Manuela Tessi (Itlay) and Rahul Goswami (India) and Music: Jacob Lekkerkerker (church organ)
